This is a good example of what can happen when people go from being in over their heads to absolute bottom. Desperation often leads to tragedy, as in this film. The two kidnappers never meant to harm the little girl, but in the end their actions led to her death. I think the actors actors should be applauded for their fine work.

I liked the story, but it confused me a bit. The character with the gambling problem--was he kidnapping his own daughter?
If so, his violent behaviour towards her makes less sense.
It's hard to watch any film that ends with a child's death.

This is the first time I was able to watch this film and I really enjoyed it. It was as good as I thought it would be! I know how much hard work went into this project! Holly, Naomi, Eva, Chris, Emily, Bill, Nick and all the others working on this film did a great job! I'm proud to be a part of it...

I didn't understand the bond between the two dufus outlaws. What would motivate them to commit such a pointless and idiotic act? With character development, this could have shed light but I didn't see the connections in the story or script.

The first dufus just grabs the girl on a whim? A crime of opportunity? Dufus #1 is not desperate. Then, once he gets back to the apartment, the two dufus' start fighting, growling at the girl, calling the mother on her phone... these things don't add up. The dufus criminals can operate without logic but the story needs it. Then dufus #1 has fun with the girl playing cards, telling jokes. And then, she falls to her death in an "accident". OK, that's a convenient way out, I guess.

This film speaks of tragic events that can happen when people make the wrong decisions; rather a domino effect on a life gone bad. All the actors were very skilled and believable. Bravo!

i have to say reading the script made me fallen in love with it, but watching the film made me love everyone even the crews, lets just say this film did an impressive job.

The little girl ROCKS!

She's the star. Too bad you killed her off. Beside not serving any point in the story, killing her by obtuse accident was unncessary because she was the best thing going on.

Yeah, I felt really cheated by the little girl getting killed by falling off the balcony. Like, OOOPS! I felt like the story was going no where and the writer just wanted to shock us with her almost incidental and meaningless death. For her to die just by an accident felt frivilous and slapdash. I half expected for her to wake up and say "just kidding!" and then fool her idiot kidnappers. Although that's not great, it would have been a much better way to end.

WOW.... it's amazing how scary Chris looked! Eva did a awesome job at looking dead. Personally, I would have liked some more music, but overall, a grrreeeaat job!

This story was the darkest of all the short films.
It is every parents worse nightmare to
have their child abducted by force and then held against their will. The decision by the script writer to take this on as a subject is a big responsibility because you cannot be trite or simplistic without appearing foolish with the hard felt emotions of a situation like this where so much is at stake. I admire the ambition but, as a story, I don't think it succeeds because it goes off subject and doesn't have the depth to live up to the pyschological intensity of the abduction and ultimately the tragic death of a child.

This was one of the better shorts films I have seen in a long time. The actors in the film were amazing and were really well cast. The main two people ( the little girl and the main kidnapper) blew me away. I don't know what else to say except... GREAT SUCCESS!!

I stopped watching, it was like a quasi pedophile, kidnapping at random piece. Ransom with Mel G kept my interest because there was a reason the kidnappers took his kid. This was just dumb. The acting very stiff, Boring! Get a better script next time.
